Attendee - Independent Advanced Volunteer Training 2020

Must have completed New Volunteer Orientation for Public and be a current member of BRHC to attend.

Improve your horse handling skills so you can assist participants in our educational programs for children and adults. Learn to evaluate, retrain and rehabilitate rescued horses in our foster care program for use in educational programs and to increase their chances to be adopted. Volunteer training is free and includes groundwork, de-sensitization, communication cues, round pen work, bodywork and riding. Volunteers with all levels of previous experience will enjoy these classes.

Signups for ranch experiences will be limited to no more than 6 people per session with several sessions offered each week. Social distancing rules will apply, gloves and face masks will be required. All proceeds from your membership will help us defray our operating costs. Your membership will support and ensure BRHC can continue to provide essential foster care and training for our rescued horses, leadership programs for students, as well as offering additional benefits for those of you who are active ranch participants. Memberships can be purchased via our donor page, and are tax deductible.
